The students of the Medical Assistant Training School on Wednesday boycotted their classes and formed a human chain in front of Tangail Press Club to press home their four-point demand including creating job opportunities for them and their appointment immediately after ending education.
Their other demands include continuing internship for them and reforming their course curriculum by scrapping irrelevant topics, initiating ‘Medical Education Board of Bangladesh’ by dissolving Allied Health Board’ and giving them opportunity in higher education as per the country’s first five-year plan.
Bangladesh Medical Diploma Students’ Association, Tangail unit formed the human chain.
Tangail MATS students – Saikot Jahan, Shahriar Kabir and Nayeem Hasan – addressed the human chain urging the authorities to meet their demands immediately.
